| Harry Nilsson wrote the music for the Popeye movie soundtrack. He and the other musicians (who called themselves "The Falcons") recorded the basic tracks for the movie while the fictional village of Sweethaven was completed on the island of Malta. The "Falcons" were Harry Nilsson, Klaus Voormann, Van Dyke Parks, Doug Dillard, Ray Cooper and the "Mysterious Karsten", who was rumored to be a number of different people. |
